Shutdown amtetcher SNF 2012-11-05 17:14:57: Display shows "system error"

and a bunch of hexadecimal digits. Doesn't respond to keypresses. I wasn't trying to use the machine (just walking by and saw the error message) but since it's unusable in its present state I decided to red-light it to reflect its true status.
